Madison County General Hospital

CCS CAT responded to an emergency service call August 2005 in Jackson, TN. An eight inch water main broke outside the hospital, flooding the basement (approx. 55,000 SF). Upon arrival, plans were formed with the hospital and contractor to set the priorities. The priority areas were air handlers, medical records data center and the pharmacy. CCS CAT began immediately extracting all standing water and removed silt from the basement. After the environment was stabilized CCS CAT focused on immediately bringing the priority areas back online and operational. CCS CAT technicians set up LGR Dehumidifiers, air movers, desiccant units to begin immediately drying the facility. CCS CAT technicians then began to remove the wet drywall throughout the affected areas. Fungal growth was found and sealed to prevent cross contamination.
Physicians Plaza
A toilet leak over Thanksgiving caused multi-level damage to the three story complex. CCS CAT responded handling all aspects of the project. Initial extraction was performed within hours of the leak being discovered. Drying equipment was set and in coordination with hospital officials all areas were opened the following day except for one suite due to ceiling failure. After the emergency services were completed reconstruction followed.
St Thomas Hospital
CCS CAT responded to St. Thomas Hospital due to a broken sprinkler head on the eight floor. As drying equipment was set, wallpaper was removed to allow the walls to dry uncovering fungal growth. HEPA air quality control was installed to prevent cross contamination. Anti-microbial agents were applied to all affected areas. All affected areas were dried and remediated.
Baptist Hospital
CCS CAT responded to a broken sprinkler head at Baptist Hospital on the seventh floor. Water traveled to the sixth floor through penetrations in the ceiling.
CCS CAT extracted all water and installed drying equipment. Some fungal growth was discovered and remediated per standard protocol. All areas became dry per IICRC standards equipment was scaled back.
