National Hotel Chain - New Orleans, LA

While the hotel was evacuated for Hurricane Gustav in September 2008 the sprinkler system malfunctioned. CCS CAT responded to the emergency service call and discovered all fourteen floors were affected. The power was compromised so generators were setup so that water extraction and structure drying could be started. Power cables were run to each floor so that the drying could be started using desiccant dehumidifiers, LGR dehumidifiers, air movers and air scrubbers. CCS CAT technicians then began removing wet drywall and carpet in the affected areas.
