National Hotel Chain - New Orleans, LA
While the hotel was evacuated for Hurricane Gustav in September 2008 the sprinkler system malfunctioned. CCS CAT responded to the emergency service call and discovered all fourteen floors were affected. The power was compromised so generators were setup so that water extraction and structure drying could be started. Power cables were run to each floor so that the drying could be started using desiccant dehumidifiers, LGR dehumidifiers, air movers and air scrubbers. CCS CAT technicians then began removing wet drywall and carpet in the affected areas.
Orange County Municipal Buildings
After Hurricane Ike hit the Texas coast in September 2008 CCS CAT was called in to dry and stabilize seventeen county buildings. Each building was accessed for damage and plans were put into action working with County authorities to begin drying each structure. Generators, desiccant dehumidifiers, LGR dehumidifiers, air movers and air scrubbers were installed to begin the dry out process. Affected areas were treated with sealant to deter microbial growth.
Jefferson Parish Municipal Buildings
After Hurricane Isaac CCS CAT mobilized to Gretna, LA. There were multiple government buildings that water had infiltrated during the storm.
